| The Kennebunk Land Trust Board of Directors are
volunteers from the Kennebunk and Arundel communities who share
expertise, commitment, and a mutual interest in preserving the
natural beauty of our area. Each director is elected by the
board for a three year term. A director can be re-elected for
a consecutive additional three years. |

Sandy Armentrout
Sandy has lived in the Kennebunks for over 40 years. She has
demonstrated her interest in local history and historic preservation
through her work at the Brick Store Museum, Old York Historical
Soceity and the Soceity fo the Preservation of Historic New
England. Since her retirement she has served on the Boards of
Southern Maine Visiting Nurses and Laudholm Trust. She continues
to volunteer for the Brick Store Museum, Laudholm, and York
County Shelters in Alfred. Sandy is proud of KLT's role in preserving
open space and is especially pleased about the acquisitions
and easements on land along the Kennebunk River. |

Laurie A. Brochu
Laurie is a self-employed CPA. She is a graduate of the
University of Vermont, enjoys the lake, camping, and attending
her children's sporting events. Laurie is pleased to serve as
Treasurer of KLT, and to be a part of the effort to preserve
land in the Arundel and Kennebunk area. Laurie lives in Arundel
with her fiancé Billy, and daughter and son, Katie and
Chris.. |

Milda Castner
Milda became acquainted with the Arundel and Kennebunk Beach
countryside as a child. She then made Maine her permanent
home after graduating from Mount Holyoke College in 1978,
with a double major in Latin and Greek. After working several
years as a police dispatcher for the Town of Kennebunk, she
graduated from Cornell Law School, with a J.D. degree. Milda
is a partner with the Kennebunk law firm of Bergen & Parkinson,
LLC. Milda has served on the Kennebunk Land Trust Board for
10 years. She is an ardent conservationist, and is particularly
concerned with preserving wildlife habitat as open land areas
disappear to development. Milda is an equine owner and enthusiast.
She presently resides in Arundel with her family, her horses
and various other animals. |

Paul Dest
Paul lives in Kennebunk with his wife, Deborah Danforth, and
their two children, Noah and Andrea. Paul is currently the Manager
of the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve at Laudholm
Farm. Before taking this position in 2001, he worked as a Senior
Planner at the State Planning Office, working on projects for
the Land for Maine’s Future Program and the Maine Coastal Program.
He has been active in community conservation for over a decade,
serving for three years on the Kennebunk Conservation Commission
and as a volunteer with The Nature of Conservancy at the Kennebunk
Plains. Paul enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, and wildlife watching. |

Don Gobeil
A resident of Kennebunk, Don is Technical Services Director
for the Kennebunk Kennebunkport & Wells Water District,
and brings over 25 years of watershed management experience
to the Kennebunk Land Trust. As someone with experience in surveying,
land use, zoning and development, he particularly enjoys the
opportunity to be a part of KLT. Don has served on various town
boards, including planning, comprehensive planning and open
space planning, and is currently on the steering committee of
the Coastal Mosaic Program of the Wells National Estuarine Reserve.
Together with his wife Lynne and son Jay, Don enjoys biking,
kayaking and attending various sporting events. |

Bill Grabin
Bill is the President of the board and has been a supporter
of conservation efforts for over 30 years. He is pleased to
assist with land preservation in this area. Co-founder of
Renaissance Greeting Cards, he moved to Maine in 1981 with
his wife, Monica, and their son and daughter, Gabe and Brenna.
They live in Kennebunk. |

Jim Harrison
Jim is Vice-President of KLT's Board of Directors. Having grown
up in Kennebunk, Jim's earliest and still some of his fondest
memories were spent in the fields and woods of our towns. Flying
kites on Pleasant Street after the haying was finished, numerous
Boy Scout campouts at Picnic Rock, or trout fishing in small
streams and rivers, Jim has always loved the outdoor beauty
and recreational opportunity available in the Kennebunk area.
Having served on numerous non-profit boards in Kennebunk and
Southern Maine, Jim is proud and excited to be part of the Land
Trust and their commitment to land conservation.
A graduate of Loyola College and Concordia University, Jim and
his wife Laura, and their three children and two English setters
live at the edge of town on a little patch of woods. He is an
owner of Cole Harrison Insurance with the CIC designation in
property and casualty insurance risk management. |

Ann Legg
After 14 years on the faculty at a private school in Bath, Maine
serving as Art Dept. Chair, Business Mgr., and Jr. School Director,
Ann and her husband, Ed, returned to Texas where Ann worked
in real estate sales and management. In 1993, Ann dedicated
herself to art full time. In 1995, Ann and Ed "retired"
to Kennebunk, and Ann continued her art career. She was a Steering
Committee member for the UNE Marine Science Center. She has
also served on the River Tree Arts Board of Directors and as
President of the Art Guild of the Kennebunks. With four grown
children and four grandchildren, Ann views conservation as both
an economic and aesthetic responsibility to our legacy. Ann
is a graduate of Wellesley College with an Economics major. |

Tony Liguori
Tony Liguori has been an outdoors person all his life. He has broad career experience in aviation and business program management, and is a retired Brigadier General from the USAF. His passion for outdoor recreation and strong desire to share knowledge and experience with others led him to become a registered Master Maine Guide. He views his involvement in the KLT as an opportunity to give back to the community by helping to preserve parcels of nature for future generations. Tony and his wife, Connie Lou, live in Kennebunk. |

Madelyn Marx
Born in Kennebunk, Madelyn has been an activist in land conservation
since the 1960s. She was a founding member of Ramanascho
Land Trust (now KLT). Her goal has always been to preserve the
natural beauty of the town and area for future generations.
Madelyn is an active fundraiser for the Trust and lives in Kennebunk
Beach. |

Jeanne Meggison
Jeannie has spent over 40 years supporting environmental causes.
She is a Kennebunk resident and Secretary of the KLT Board.
Jeannie has served on the boards of the Gulf of Maine Marine
Education Association and the National Marine Educators' Association,
and she is the past chair of the Education Committee at the
Wells Reserve. Jeannie has worked as a free lance marine educator
and writer for the past 20 years, and she is happy to support
KLT's role in land conservation . |

Rob Olson
Rob has a commitment to land conservation and both corporate
management and non-profit experience. He feels that serving
on the KLT Board enables him to contribute to the preservation
of undeveloped land for future generations' enjoyment. He lives
in Kennebunk. |

Peter Phaneuf
Peter and his wife Marie moved to Kennebunk in 2001 after
a 30-year career with Exxon Co. USA. Although new to
Kennebunk, Peter has a strong desire to work with the community
and members of KLT to help maintain and preserve the natural
beauty of this area. Peter hopes to make more people aware
of the importance of KLT's goals and objectives. He enjoys
kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking and just about all outdoor activities.
It is this love for the outdoors that makes Peter excited
about working with the Trust to help continue the preservation
of important natural areas. |

Leslie Roberts
A native of Kennebunk, Leslie learned an appreciation for history,
nature and the importance of preserving undeveloped and historic
property for generations to come from her parents - Bob and
Joyce Butler. She earned a degree in Art History from Wheaton
College and went on to work in Marketing and Communications
in Boston. After a brief stint studying at Sotheby's in London,
England, she moved back to Maine. Today, Leslie is Assistant
Vice President of Corporate Communications at TD Banknorth.
She is passionate about conserving land for wildlife habitat
and recreational use, and thrilled to have the opportunity to
continue her family's legacy by serving on the Board of the
Kennebunk Land Trust. Leslie resides in Kennebunk with her husband
Sumner and her two children, Sarah and Adam. |

Tim Spahr
Tim is a graduate of College of the Atlantic. He
has worked professionally in natural resource management for
over 10 yearsand has been active with KLT for nearly as long .
He is particularly devoted to the Trust’s role in combating
urban sprawl. He lives in Kennebunk with his wife, Elizabeth,
and their daughter Emily. |

Marie Louise St. Onge
As Executive Director for the Trust, Marie Louise combines her
experience working in both non-profit and corporate management
with her commitment to conservation. She has served on town
planning boards, in public advocacy roles, and is a published
author. She lives in Kennebunk. |
