The Kennebunk Land Trust has
helped preserve over 3,300 acres of forest, fields and waterways
throughout Kennebunk and Arundel and the number is growing
yearly. More than 300 acres of our holdings are conservation
easements in which the property owners have designated a portion
of their land to be held in its natural state in perpetuity
by the Land Trust.
Most of the KLT properties are open to the public (although
some conservation easements are not, in keeping with the wishes
of the donors). Land Trust volunteers have created easy access
to many of our properties with beautiful walking trails. We
encourage you to visit these properties, which are marked
clearly by signs. Please respect the natural character of
the property. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.
